2- What is the difference between microblading and micro shading?
In microblading we create natural-look hair strokes by implanting pigment into the upper layer of the skin using a manual tool or blade.
In micro shading we create natural-look hair strokes by implanting pigment into the upper layer of the skin and then we add natural-look shading to fill the gaps especially on the brow tail.
So, if you have oily skin, have an old tattoo/microblading, or have less hair on the brow tail, micro shading is recommended.
3- What is after-care?
In your appointment, we provide you with a free after-care pack and instructions. Please read them carefully.
4- Do I need to book a consultation appointment?

All New Client Appointments are scheduled for 2 to 3 hours. In this time we provide consultation, eyebrow measurement, shaping and treatment (all in one appointment).

We will suggest the best shape suited for the client.

5- I have a previous tattoo/microblading; what should I do?

Please send us a close and clear photo of your eyebrows; then we assess whether we can do a microshading correction treatment for you.

Your old tattoo/microblading must be very faded in order to be corrected. We normally do not touchup other artists' work so you need to book a new full treatment.

6- How often do I need touchups?

The first touchup is recommended 4 to 6 weeks after every microblading/microshading appointment. In addition, annual touchups are recommended to maintain the shape and colour of eyebrows.

Microblading: last up to 12 months depends on your skin type.

Microshading: last up to 18 months depends on your skin type.

For example, if you have oily skin or old tattoos it may last shorter so you need to do one more touchup after the first one.

7- Who is NOT recommended for microblading?
  • Affected by Aids, HIV or Hepatitis.

  • Pregnant or breast feeding.

  • All clients must be 18 or older.

  • Previously tattooed and the tattoo is still too dark.

  • Must be off Accutane for 1 year.

  • History of keloid scaring.

  • Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy at any time within the last 6 months.

  • Major heart conditions or high blood pressure.

  • If you are allergic to tattoo ink.

8- What should I do before my appointment?
  • NO alcohol/drug 24 hours before.

  • NO face tanning.

  • Botox should be done one month before or one month after.

  • NO surgery and cosmetic injection 2 weeks prior.

  • DO NOT take fish oil 7 days prior.

  • DO NOT use retinol one month prior.

  • If you are allergic to inc, pigment, erc., or you have too sensitive skin, we book a free patch test for you few days before your appointment.

9- Is microblading painful?

The pain is comparable to threading. However, we use good quality numbing cream on your eyebrows.
